Welcome to my playground.
It is still under construction, but safe to explore :)
This is where I share “passion projects”: design projects I do for myself in my free time. The day I learned how to hold a pencil is the day I started creating. Since then, product ideas “spawn” at each hour of the day. These ideas need to get out of my head and into the world. This has led me to explore new materials nearly every month. You can either make or learn something from each material.
Spotlight projects
IKEA Longboard bag
April 2024 - Sewing, bag design
I like Longboarding and IKEA, I dislike my board getting damaged by rain. Hence, the creation of the IKEA Longboard bag. A tricky material and size, but I managed to create a fully functional bag that caught a lot of attention in the Longboarding community. The rolltop design makes it possible to use with different sizes longboards (1 to 1,5m). It has padding in the bottom, multiple handy straps and 2 bottle holders. It folds up much smaller than any other longboard bag, which makes it easy to store. (I recommend watching the video with audio on)
Pock-it
November 2024 - Sewing for industrial production
An innerbag specifically designed for totebags, so you won’t have to dig through the bottom of your bag to find your items. The Pock-it attaches to the straps of your (tote)bag. It contains handy pockets and a place to put your water bottle and keys. Being an avid totebag wearer I have struggled with the lack of pockets and with the issue of my water bottle falling over and leaking. I wanted to solve my problem and create a product that could be produced industrially. Therefor I looked at the design of the pockets of well known bag brands such as Fjallraven. I designed, marketed and sewn the bags myself.
