Groovee

For the course "Build your startup" I developed Groovee; a record player that easily connects to smart speaker systems, for people with a smart system that want to experience the vinyl nostalgia.  Groovee saves time and effort in connecting a wired device with the wireless environment.

At first I determined the product-market fit. For marketing, I made short commercial videos explaining the usage and put them on the website and instagram. Through instagram ads I was able to test the popularity of the concept and I achieved a conversion rate of 4% with a CAC of 1,60EU. Finally, an expected business model was created, with an estimation for the finances. Together with a lawyer, I looked at the possibilities for patents. 2 prototypes have been built and one has been tested with one of the interviewees. I made a placeholder design for the record player and wrote and presented the final pitch.
